(Brno, 24 August 2026) Jet Investment has completed its eight deal through the venture capital fund Jet Venture 1 SICAV. The group is investing USD 750,000 in Hermetiq, a US technology startup developing artificial intelligence for automating and repairing software builds, becoming the largest single investor in the round. As part of the USD 2.2 million investment round, Jet Investment is the round’s largest single investor. Other investors in the round include prominent figures from the technology world, including Niranjan Tulpule, Vice President of Engineering, Developer AI at Google; Jason Calacanis through his LAUNCH accelerator; and Gokul Rajaram, a board member of Pinterest, Coinbase, and The Trade Desk. Other participants in the round include venture capital fund Lighthouse Seed Fund II and investment companies Chilli Ventures and Gi21 Capital.

Founded in 2025 in San Francisco, Hermetiq develops a build intelligence platform. Before code becomes a working product, it must go through the build process – compiling, linking and testing. At the world's largest engineering organizations that process runs on Bazel, an open-source system originally developed at Google: extraordinarily powerful, but complex. When a build breaks, diagnosing it today requires scarce and expensive specialist engineers while the rest of the development team waits. Hermetiq automates that work – it observes every build, identifies the cause of failure, and is moving toward full automation of repairs without human intervention.

One of the world’s four leading AI companies uses Hermetiq’s platform in production. Hermetiq processes telemetry from more than 2 million builds per day for this customer, generating more than 3 billion build events in total. This makes it one of the most technically demanding environments in the world and provides the strongest possible validation of the solution’s scalability. The platform is also being tested by e-commerce company Etsy in a pilot program.

"With the rise of agentic coding, AI generates many times more code, faster and with minimal human oversight. The number of errors and build failures is therefore rising steeply but the supply of build engineers is not," said Kamil Levinský, Managing Director of Jet Venture 1. "Deployment at one of the world’s four leading AI companies, in a highly technically demanding environment, is the strongest possible validation of this solution’s scalability.”

"Software development is being automated, but the build process itself is not not even at the most advanced organizations," added Jake Newfield, CEO of Hermetiq. "Our goal is to build an intelligence layer that can not only explain a build but repair it. Jet Investment's backing will allow us to strengthen our engineering team and accelerate the development of that automation."

The transaction fits Jet Investment's strategy of expanding its venture capital portfolio of innovative technology companies. The investment in Hermetiq follows previous investments in Partory, International Automotive Group, Cequence, Boost.space, Headmade Materials, Digicust, DecisionRules and GigaScan.
