Jet Investment announces €950,000 investment in Austrian AI start-up Digicust
(Brno, 2 December) The group of Jet Investment has made its sixth investment through the Jet Venture 1 SICAV venture capital fund. It will invest €950,000 in Digicust, an Austrian tech startup, which specializes in automating customs processes using artificial intelligence. Cooperating with the Look.AI fund, which contributed €250,000, Jet Investment will support further development of a solution that significantly simplifies and speeds up the processing of international customs declarations.

Since 2020, Digicust has been developing a platform that enables the automation of complex customs workflows for logistics companies, customs brokers and exporters. The solution significantly reduces customs processing time, minimizes errors, and ensures consistent compliance across countries. The start-up uses advanced AI technology for intelligent document processing, tariff classification, export control, and customs audits. The company operates in more than six European countries, serves over 50 corporate clients, and its platform has already processed more than 500,000 customs declarations. Digicust emphasizes the ethically responsible use of AI – it holds the TÜV SÜD (IEEE CertifAIed) certification for trusted AI applications.
"Digicust sets a new standard for customs process automation in Europe. Their combination of proprietary technology and AI expertise enables customers to increase accuracy and productivity in customs declaration processing many times over," said Kamil Levinský, Managing Director at Jet Ventures. "We see Digicust as the future leader of the segment and look forward to supporting its growth in new markets."
"Our vision is to remove inefficiencies from global supply chains and make customs clearance seamless and fully digital," added Boris Parmakovic, CEO of Digicust. "Jet Investment's support will allow us to scale our solutions faster and bring more value to logistics providers operating across countries."
The transaction fits into Jet Investment's strategy of expanding its venture capital portfolio of innovative technology companies in Europe's industrial heartland.
